It has been recently announced that the upcoming Die Hard film, ‘A Good Way to Die Hard’, will feature one of the most expensive and news-worthy car chases in movie history. According to John Moore, director of the film, there were 132 cars which could never be used again after the scene and another 518 cars that will require a lot of work to be returned to their former glory. In total, cost of this scene adds up to $11 million.

Chrysler is breaking new ground with their Ram 1500 pickup as it was just announced that it will be available this year with a diesel V6. Arriving in the third quarter of 2013 as a 2014 model, this will be the first time that a light-duty pickup truck is sold with a diesel engine.

With the announcement of two concept models, Mitsubishi continues to explore new options to enhance its range with fuel-efficient hybrids and zero-emissions EVs. Mark Fields, Ford‘s COO, says the brand is following EPA rules in certifying its vehicles fuel mileage. Recently, Consumer Reports scrutinized Ford for falling to deliver on mpg promises, but Fields said that isn’t the company’s fault.
