Apple iOS Apps for your car! iPhone, iPod, iPad, iPad 2

The iPad 2 is scheduled to ship in just 1 week. I felt this would be the perfect time to go over some iOS apps for the auto industry. Theres obviously endless uses for you iPod, iPhone, and iPad and endless reason why you use it or are possibly considering buying a new one (ipad 2). Not many people realize that when you take a break from playing Angry Birds for 7 hours straight, you can actually use your iDevice for something automotive.

Say Goodbye EVO Fans, Time for a new breed

If you’ve been eye balling a new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution for a while, it’s time to make the purchase or forever hold your peace. Mitsubishi will be pulling the Evo from it’s line up of mid level cars not many people want to drive. The companies global product director, Gayu Eusegi claims “There is still a demand, but we must stop”. “Our influence now is EV technology” explained Eusegi.

We’re happy to say we’ve posted almost 7k items to amazon.com. Amazon is a really unique market place for us being that we not only sell auto parts, we sell mostly used auto parts. We’re trying our best to live up to Amazon.com’s expectations and as always getting the customer a quality part quickly is our #1 priority. Volvo to drop at least 4 models from it’s line up

Looks like Volvo is re positioning it’s business. Their focus in 2011 is to sell more cars in the US. To do that their shrinking their line up to just “Five or Six Models” according to Doug Speck, head of Volvo’s US operations. Volvo has had declining sales figures for the last 6 years straight. Fewer car models means more marketing dollars can be spent on each remaining model.

How are electric cars going to heat passengers?

I’m sure no one has ever thought much about this, I know I haven’t but how is the new Nissan leaf and Chevy Volt cars going to heat its passengers in the winter time? I was reading an article this morning and was kind of stumped? There right how is the Nissan leaf going to heat its passengers, the Chevy Volt still has an internal combustion engine so that’s a no brainier. It will blow air to keep the cabin warm through the heater core just like any other gas car.

Blue Link coming to 2012 Hyundai Sonata and Veloster

Hyundai has Finally announced its Blue Link Service at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) it will rival GM’s Onstar system. The Blue link system will have a  few packages for the buyer to chose from and different subscription prices.  It will be available through the radio nav screen or the rear view mirror. Just like Onstar services, It will be able to help you start your car, unlock your doors, and have enhanced roadside assistance.
