Frenchman Does a Backflip in a MINI with Video

The man behind the wheel of this MINI ALL4 Racing is Guerlain Chicherit, extreme sportsman, freestyle skier, professional rally driver and a veteran of the X-raid Team. To get the MINI up in the air and back to the ground, the 34-year-old Frenchman used a static ramp to land on a soft bed of fresh powder snow. This stunt was performed at the winter sports resort of Tignes in Chicherit’s home country.

MIT Awards Audi a Spot on the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies List

Although winning automotive awards is nice, it can’t compare to receiving the unique honor of being named to the list of the top 50 most innovative companies in the world. Audi has been given the award for its efforts in autonomous driving, the officially-named list of “50 Disruptive Companies” is compiled by a jury at the MIT Technology Review.

132 Cars Demolished in Chase Scene from the New Die Hard Film

It has been recently announced that the upcoming Die Hard film, ‘A Good Way to Die Hard’, will feature one of the most expensive and news-worthy car chases in movie history. According to John Moore, director of the film, there were 132 cars which could never be used again after the scene and another 518 cars that will require a lot of work to be returned to their former glory. In total, cost of this scene adds up to $11 million.
