Lotus Makes Goal to Increases Sales 5 Times by 2015

Parent company to Lotus Group, DRB Hicom is predicting some lofty goals for the small sports car company, and is confident that by 2015 the brand will be selling between 4,000 and 5,000 units per year. As of the end of 2012, Lotus only produced 1,043 cars, which is still a long way off from 4,000. This estimate is based on the increasing global demand for sports cars and the new management at DRB-Hicom.

Ford Unveils New Apps at the 2013 CES

A few cars are featured among all the new tablets and smartphones at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Vegas this year, and to grab the attention of younger, ‘connected’ car-buyers, Ford knows they need apps. Ford is allowing app developers to make programs that can interface directly with its vehicles, and change the driving experience, thanks to SYNC and the AppLink platform.
