For the second time, Audi will once again try to make a diesel-powered super car. The farthest Audi has gotten to making this dream become a reality was the magnificent R8 V12 TDI Concept, but it never made it into production. The difference between now and then is that this time they seem to be serious, and they are thinking about a diesel-electric hybrid system.

A large parade of Ferrari cars and an even larger group of Ferrari fans gathered in the city of Guangzhou to mark the 20th anniversary of the brand in China. It was the closing event of 11 months of celebrations, of even which Ferrari chairman, Luca di Montezemolo, attended.

Mercedes-Benz is recalling a small number of 2012 CLS550 and CLS550 4Matics in the United States because the engine hood could open while driving. The German automaker states in a filing to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the recall affects 23 examples of the aforementioned models built from December 01, 2011 through December 13, 2011.

Now that Apple’s iPod, iPhone, and iPad have become a part of our everyday lives, maybe it is time for the company to acquire new ventures. Shane Baxley, who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Transportation Design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena  believes that cars are a great way for Apple to diversify and expand its business. That is why his project is a car-sharing service designed for the Apple brand, which was completed last April.

After the recent inaccurate MGP claims against Hyundai and Kia, Ford many now be under the spotlight as their new hybrid models’ fuel economy numbers don’t seem to be living up to expectations. Media and real-world results of the C-Max and Fusion Hybrid, Ford’s two newest hybrid models, have turned in disappointed mpg figures despite their EPA-estimated 47 mpg ratings.

Nissan has now come out with more details of the one-of-a-kind, gold-painted 2013 GT-R Premium Edition (MY14 for the U.S. market) designed with the help and named after Jamaican sprinter and Olympic champion Usain Bolt, which will be auctioned off on eBay from November 22 to December 2,2012.

When we think of a tire problem, most of the time, we automatically think about a flat, which is a routine problem that can be fixed quickly. If your car has run-flats, you can fix this problem by driving to the nearest tire shop, but for most of use we would have to pull over to the side of the road and swap it out with a spare.

The first ever F12 Berlinetta in the U.S. was auctioned off by Ferrari to help Hurricane Sandy victims on Saturday November 17th. Held during the 2012 U.S. Forumla 1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, this charity auction raied a total of $1.5 million for the American Red Cross. Sold for $1.125 million, the F12 went for nearly four times more than the actual price of the car. However, the gentleman who bought the car was perfectly happy about it because he contributed to a good cause while getting himself an awesome car.
