This weeks biggest car news – Ferrari Crash

If you haven’t heard about this already, this weeks biggest news in the auto industry was this massive accident in Japan that totaled 14 vehicles. This was a convoy of exotic car drivers that decided to go out for a group drive. This included 8 Ferrari’s, 3 Mercedes, a Lamborghini, a skyline and some how a Prius that we assume was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Meet our Staff – John Marques

Meet John Marques…

John currently lives in Naugatuck CT and works full time at Tom’s Foreign as our Sales Manager. John graduated Kaynor Technical High School in 1995 after taking 4 years of automotive classes. After school, he took up a job at well respected European garage where he worked for over 11 years. At the shop John became very familiar with high end European cars of all kinds.

If you’ve been buying parts from us for a while you may remember that we use to send out monthly newsletters in the mail. The Tom’s At Your Service newsletters had a decent run in the late 90’s and did a good job at getting our customers to interact with us. Subaru stops sales on three models. Recalls imminent.

Subaru stopped sales on 3 of their models; Legacy, Impreza, and Outback models. Stemming from numerous counts of the “brake pedal just not feeling right” from buyers of these new cars. The pedal was also noted as being to low. 3,000 Cars are to be recalled and sales will be withheld until the problem is fixed. Subaru has found the problem at the master cylinder is the culprit. The fix will only take about an hour.
