Ford Unveils New Apps at the 2013 CES

A few cars are featured among all the new tablets and smartphones at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Vegas this year, and to grab the attention of younger, ‘connected’ car-buyers, Ford knows they need apps. Ford is allowing app developers to make programs that can interface directly with its vehicles, and change the driving experience, thanks to SYNC and the AppLink platform.

Now Illegal to Run a Yellow Light in China

As a result of new rules being put into effect January 1st in China making it illegal to drive through a yellow traffic light, protest have started to spring up over the last few days. According to Bloomberg reports, even though the law was created to try and reduce accidents in major cities, this law is understandably unpopular with some member of the Chinese public. Opponents say that this rule will be impossible to enforce because drivers won’t have enough time to brake.

McLaren Mercedes Pit Crew Given Gift for Making Record Pitstop w/video

In honor of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes pit crew for making the world’s fastest Formula 1 pit stop, timepiece maker TAG Heuer has gifted each pit crew member with a Carrera Day-Date chronograph. The crew, which contained 25 member, were responsible for the first-ever sub 2.500-second pit stop in the world, and will be reminded of that feat on the timepieces given to them by TAG Heuer.

Driver of MazdaSpeed6 Drifts, and is a Quad-Amputee?

The video that your are about to watch is of a young man, named Taylor Morris, drifting a MazdaSpeed6 on the snow and he is a quadruple amputee with replacements for his lost parts. Morris, whom lost his limbs serving in Afghanistan, and his friends made this video trying to capture the attention of professional driver Ken Block as he wishes to ride with him in a race car.
