100 Million All-Electric Miles Driven by Chevy Volt Owners
Chevrolet claims that collectively, owners of Volt range-extended EV’s have driven over 100 million miles on nothing but all-electric power. Chevy says, if charged regularly, the average Volt owner gets approximately 900 miles out of a single tank of gas. Volt owners who charge up regularly can save around $1,370 a year compared to the fuel usage of the average new vehicle sold in the States.
