Google Adwords Turns 10 Today

Today is Google Adwords 10th birthday. To celebrate they made promo videos with their customers names in them. Pretty impressive. Especially since we’re a very small customer of theirs at the moment. Google’s announcement totes having billions of ads displayed over the last 10 years. It’s hard not to wonder how much this company has actually made from adwords in 10 years. Marks Classic Cruise @ Marks Auto Parts 8-30-2010

Jim Eitvydas, owner of Tom’s Foreign Auto Parts, got a chance to check out Marks Classic Cruise last night. Mark’s Auto parts is a salvage yard located in East Granby CT. If you’ve ever flown out of Bradley Airport, you may have seen his place from over head. Its a very large and very organized salvage yard thats been around for a long time.  Mark of Mark’s Auto Parts puts on a car show almost every Monday night during the summer right outside the gates of his business.

Top Gear road testing a Reliant Robin

I’m a huge fan of Top Gear and every season theres that one episode that just makes you laugh so hard you can’t breathe. This is that episode for me. This has got to be one of the funniest things they’ve done, in the top 5 funniest at least. This is showcasing the Reliant Robin, one of the most unstable cars ever made. It was apparently popular among minors in the UK. If you’ve never seen Top Gear then this is a good time to start watching it. Enjoy!

Cheap after market parts prove to be less safe then OEM

You always hear about quality differences between cheaper parts but it never seems that big of a deal until you see something like this. This is why it’s so important to keep OEM quality parts on your car. If they used a recycled ford bumper then it would have the same safety properties as what was on the car to begin with. We’ll have to refer back to this when people ask us the difference between aftermarket and OEM parts.
