Ford Only Brand to Make Over Two Million Sales in the U.S. for 2012

Marking its second straight year topping the 2-million mark, being the only brand in America to do so, Ford is on track to sell 2.2 million vehicles in the U.S. this year. In addition to this feat, Ford’s Fiesta is on pace to being the best-selling global B-Car, and this year’s best-selling global nameplate with the Ford Focus. What this means is that Ford would be the owners of the best-selling B- and C-segment cars in the world.

Battery Loss Results in Nissan Extending 2011-2012 Leaf Battery

Nissan decided to take action after some Leaf owners located in hot-weather climates complained to Nissan about their car’s lithium-ion battery losing performance. Nissan is going to bolster its warranty program that will apply retroactively on all 2011 and 2012 models; the new 2013 version starting from next spring as also included in the warranty program.

To Not Offend Non-Christian Workers, Bentley Fires Plant Priest Before Christmas

Employed by Bentley for the past 10 years was Reverend Francis Cook. He visited the VW Group-owned luxury automaker’s factory in Crewe, England once a week and chatted to its employees, run Christian courses, and wrote messages in the companies newsletter. He was told that his services were no longer required and he should vacate the premises only a few days before Christmas.
