Making its first true appearance at the 83rd Geneva International Auto show it the new Subaru Viziv concept, but luckily, we will have a sneak peek first. Subaru tells us that the Viziv is “a future-generation crossover concept” that embodies the brand value or “Enjoyment and Peace of Mind” if that makes any sense.
Subaru added that the name came from the phrase “Vision for Innovation” and that the study provides an insight into the brand’s direction. However, no information has been given about its size, what’s under the hood, or any other details.
By looking at the single photo released by Subaru, it is clear that there are some similarities to the 2009 Hybrid Tourer Concept 2.0 Turbo displayed at the Tokyo Motor show. On the other hand, it is unknown if the Viziv is a further development of the prototype.
The European market version of the 2014 Forester and a new edition of the Outback pairing for the first time the Japanese brand’s 2.0 liter boxer diesel to the Lineartronic (CVT) will be joining the Viziv at Subaru’s Geneva Motor Show.
