On January 19th, a 2009 Ford F-150 King Ranch 4X4 SuperCrew owned by former President of the Untied States, George W. Bush will be heading to the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. All proceeds from the sale of this vehicle will go to a program dedicated to assisting the families of America’s military called the Fisher House Foundation.
Bush has been using this Ford since he left the White House in 2009 around the family’s ranch, to entertain friends and dignitaries, and had even given tours of their Crawford property.
The Ford F-150 has a towing capacity of 11,200 pounds, is powered by a 5.4 liter, V8 with 310 hp, and features a King Ranch premium leather interior. This truck has only had one owner, George W. Bush, and the title is even in the former President’s name. Bush’s signature is featured on the right airbag panel and the winner of the truck will receive a video of him autographing the truck and driving it around his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
“With the help of former President Bush and the Fisher House Foundation, Barrett-Jackson is excited to be a part of this incredible sale,” said Steve Davis, president of Barrett-Jackson. “Driven by a President and now benefiting veterans, this truck is an exceptional piece of America that would make any collector proud.”
