The high-performance version of the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is no longer a secret, well at least the exterior, as of Wednesday, December 12th due to official photos being leaked onto the web. BMW‘s M6 Gran Coupe features the same bespoke styling cues and aerodynamic parts as its two-door brethren.

These include a carbon-fiber reinforced plastic roof, different bumpers, side skirts, a rear diffuser flanked by twin exhaust popes on either side, 19-inch trims on the double kidney grille, and fender air vents.

It is no surprise that the M6 Gran Coupe features the same S63Tu 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 with 553hp (560PS) and 680Nm (501 lb-ft) as the M5 sedan, M6 Coupe, and Carbriolet. The world premiere of the car will take place at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit in mid-January, and full details on the car are expected to be released soon.
