The Jaguar XFR-S debuted at the Los Angles Auto Show this week and the reason why this is so special is because the enhancements made on it go further that just aesthetic appeal. The wings and spoilers not only give this car a spicier look, but it also helps reduce lift by an impressive 68 percent. Compared to the plain XFR, power and torque of the S model’s 5.0 liter supercharged V8 have been increased to 542hp (550 PS) and 502 bl-ft (680 Nm), which is a 40 hp and 41 lb-ft (55Nm) increase.
This car holds an eight-speed transmission with ‘Quickshaft’ functionality that drives the rear tires. This new and improved Jaguar XFR-S will complete the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.4 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.6 seconds) and continue to accelerate on to an electronically limited top speed of 186 mpg (300 km/h). Other revisions consist of an uprated suspension and recalibrated Electronic active differential and Dynamic Stability Control systems along with new and wider 20-inch wheels wrapped in bespoke rubber. The video below of the Jaguar XFR-S, of which only 200 cars will be sold in the United Stares, shows off what this car can really do.
