Currently, President Barrack Obama is in Israel along with the presidential limo, which was brought from Washington, D.C. to the country for the visit. However, the limo is not going anywhere other than on a trailer and heading back for the U.S.

Built to protect the President, the custom Cadillac was accidentally filled with the wrong fuel causing it to become inoperable. It is unknown whether or not it was a diesel engine that got standard gasoline, or a standard gasoline engine that got diesel fuel because it is the presidential limo. Obviously it is a costly mistake if the limo has a standard gasoline engine that’s now filled with diesel fuel.

Removing the fuel system, along with emptying and cleaning out the tank and fuel lines to get the vehicle back on the road wouldn’t be a huge hassle on a standard vehicle. However, since it’s a custom-built vehicle, very few know how difficult it would be to clean out the system and what modifications have been done to the vehicle. Nonetheless, at least President Obama now has a reason to convert “The Beast” to a greener presidential limo.
